Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

This policy explains how ScanMe collects, processes, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website, account, AI analysis, conversations, purchases, and related features.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name or nickname, email address, sign-in method, and account identifiers.

When you use analysis or conversation features, we process information you choose to provide, including birth details, gender, text, photos, questions, conversation content, and other data needed for the selected analysis.

We may also record device and browser data, IP address, activity logs, payment status, and necessary transaction identifiers. Full payment-card details are generally handled by payment providers.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, provide personalized analysis and conversations, process purchases and subscriptions, maintain security, prevent abuse, provide support, improve services, and meet legal obligations.

Unless you consent or the law otherwise permits, we do not use personal data for purposes lacking a reasonable connection to the purpose for which it was collected.

3. AI and Service Providers

To generate analysis or provide essential functions, relevant inputs may be sent to contracted AI, cloud, email, payment, analytics, or infrastructure providers. They may process data only as needed to provide contracted services.

Do not include unnecessary government identifiers, financial account numbers, passwords, medical records, or other highly sensitive information in conversations or uploads.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We disclose information only when necessary to provide services, with your consent, to comply with lawful process, to protect users or service security, or as part of a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as needed to fulfill collection purposes, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We then delete, de-identify, or lawfully retain it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction or completion, cessation of collection, processing or use, and deletion of personal data. Some requests may be limited by legal, transaction-retention, security, or rights-protection requirements.

You may also manage account information and notification preferences or request account deletion. Contact ScanMe through an official support channel for assistance.

7. Children, International Processing, and Updates

The service is not designed specifically for children below the applicable legal age. Minors should use it with the consent and guidance of a legal representative.

Providers may process data in other countries or regions, subject to appropriate safeguards. When this policy changes, we publish the new version and effective date here and provide reasonable notice of material changes.

Important notice If this document differs from mandatory law or disclosures on a specific transaction page, the applicable law and transaction-page disclosures control.
